There is an old praise and worship song that we occasionally sing when the excitement level in the church service reaches a high point.  The song asks the question, “What kind of church is this?”  Perhaps you share the same question, what kind of church is The AX Church?  Let me begin to answer this question by telling you what kind of church The AX Church is not.
•  We are not a dead church - we believe in lively worship services and powerful preaching.
•  We are not a quiet church - our services operate within the power and demonstration of the Spirit of the Lord.
•  We are not a full church - we have room for you in our services.

So, what kind of church is this?
•  We are a “Jesus name” church.   The Bible tells us, “whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.” (Col 3:17)  The AX Church is founded on the name of Jesus Christ since there is no other name whereby we must be saved.
•  We are a life-changing church.  Whether you suffer from sickness, cancer, depression, sin, or any other hindrance, The AX Church believes in a God who is greater than all of these and who is willing to deliver you right now.
•  We are a soul-minded church - our mission is to fulfill the Lord’s commission to seek and save that which was lost.
•  Finally, we are a friendly and loving church - no matter your status or life circumstance, The AX Church is here to love and welcome you with a godly love.

Praise the Lord everyone! Thank you for visiting our site today. My name is Michael Perry and I am the Youth Pastor here at The AX Church. I count it an absolute honor to be on the pastoral team at the greatest church in Xenia. It is our vision that you would find this church to be a place where you can come and feel safe and to feel loved. A place where you can come as you are and feel the presence of God. We as a ministry staff realize that most people have been hurt in the past by a church or by church people, so we understand that and we try and create an atmosphere where you can come and heal those wounds and grow in God.

We believe in preaching the whole word of God under the power and anointing of the Holy Ghost. We believe that signs, wonders and miracles follow them that believe. At The AX Church we have seen cancer healed, blinded eyes open, broken bones mended back together, and peoples lives completely changed by the Lord.
